TRAINEE PLASTERER

Smooth Cut Plastering Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for 2 Trainee Plasterer’s to join our team on a full time permanent basis. You will gain valuable experience working with an experienced team on a range of commercial and domestic clients including high end projects, offices, schools and churches.

Key roles and Responsibilities 

  • Solid Plastering and Skimming - Applying multi finish to surfaces such as plasterboard, sand and cement render, hard wall and bonding   

  • Rendering - Applying sand and cement render to blocks and bricks 

  • Lime render - Applying base and finish coat to blocks and bricks

  • Float and set - Applying a hard wall mixture to blocks and bricks

  • Work area tidy

  • Health and safety  

 

Essential Experience and Qualifications

You should have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plastering or be aged between 18 - 23 years and have a keen interest in learning the plastering trade. You will need to be able to demonstrate good customer service skills, be trustworthy and reliable. You should be able to travel within London and the M25, have a current CSCS card and the right to live/work in the UK.

Salary 

Labourer/Trainee 

£40 - £50 per day

Trainee with 1.5 years experience or more

 

£60 - £70 per day

After completion of successful probation period of 3 - 6 months you will receive a salary increase of 20%

Upon successful completion of the zoom interview you will be invited to complete a day's trial and upon successful completion of the day trial you will be offered the position.
